A historical hike with a local guide

On Sunday, 26 July, join us for a scenic hike from Klaksvík via Katlarnir to Árnafjørður.

Along the way, your guide Irdi will share stories about the area’s history, nature, and other fascinating aspects that have shaped the region over the centuries. At Katlarnir, we will visit an ancient assembly site where local people gathered in former times. The site is of great historical significance and also offers beautiful panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.

The hike starts at Undir Kráarbrekku, next to Sambýlið á Heygnum.

Children (up to 12 years): DKK 100
👨‍👩‍👧 Children must be accompanied by an adult.

🥪 Please bring a packed lunch and something to drink.

🚗 Participants are responsible for arranging their own transportation back from Árnafjørður after the hike.
