Varmakelda (the Warm Spring) regional festival will take place 4 to 6 July 2025

Varmakelda (the Warm Spring) is a regional festival in Fuglafjørður which this year includes the regional heat of the national rowing competition. There are various events from 3 - 6 July, but the rowing competition takes place on Saturday 5 July 2025 .

Friday 4 July
9am - 6pm - Piddasahandil and Ribarhús
- Exhibition is open
- The Café is open aswell as the old handicrafts store
9pm - Concert with Maria and Bárður á Lakjuni in Ribarhús (Tickets are sold on atgongumerki.fo)

Saturday 5 July
10.30am - Parade with all the local sports clubs, from the football pitch to the Culture House
3pm - Rowing competition
7.30pm - 3am - Concert with various artists (Tickets are sold on atgongumerki.fo)
9pm - Campfire and sing-along by the beach

Sunday 6 July
3pm-6pm - Locals playing on the Grand piano in Ribarhús

The restaurant, Muntra, is open 4 and 5 July from 12pm
The bar, Etasjan, is open 4 July from 6pm and 5 July from 5pm
