New Year's Celebration in Fuglafjørður
A traditional torchlight procession will start in the different neighbourhoods in Fuglafjørður, all walking towards the central park in town by the tourist information office. The procession will start at 9pm.
At the central park, there is a bonfire, communal singing and a New Year’s speech. At 10pm the municipal fireworks will start, after which people usually continue celebrating in houses or garages in their respective neighbourhoods.
